Allah Says,
➤ Important dates first and last dates of Ramadan are determined by the lunar Islamic calendar. Beginning Since the Pahari, or crescent moon, usually occurs about one day after the new moon, Muslims can usually predict the beginning of Ramadan. However, many people prefer to confirm the start of Ramadan by direct visual observation of the moon.  Qadr Shab Lailatul Qadr is considered the holiest night of the year. It is generally believed to have occurred on an odd night in the last decade of Ramadan. Islamic scholars believe that Lailat-ul-Qadr was the twenty-third night of Ramadan.

➤ Religious worship Fasting from dawn to sunset is a common practice. The pre-dawn meal before fasting is called Suhri, while the meal at sunset is called Iftar. Muslims devote more time to prayer and charity, trying to improve their discipline, inspired by the hadith: "When Ramadan comes, the gates of Paradise are opened and the gates of Hell are closed." are done and the devils are chained.  ➤ Suhoor Every day, before dawn, Muslims eat a pre-fast meal called Suhoor. After stopping shortly before Fajr, Muslims begin the first Fajr prayer of the day.
 Iftar At sunset, families break their fast with Iftar, traditionally opening the meal by eating dates to commemorate Muhammad's practice of breaking the fast with three dates. They then adjourn for Maghrib, the fourth of the five essential daily prayers, after which the main meal is served.

 Social gatherings at Iftar time, often buffet style. Traditional dishes are often featured, including traditional sweets, especially those made only during Ramadan. Water is usually the drink of choice, but juice and milk are also often available, as are soft drinks and caffeinated beverages.  In the Middle East, iftar consists of water, juice, dates, salad, and an appetizer. One or more main dishes; and rich desserts, with dessert, considered the most important aspect of the meal. Common main dishes include lamb stew with wheat berries, lamb kebabs with grilled vegetables, and roasted chicken with chickpea-studded rice pilaf. Desserts may include lacrimal, baklava, or kunefe.

Zakat, often translated as "poor's rate", is a fixed percentage of income that a believer is required to give to the poor. Action is our duty as one of the pillars of Islam. Muslims believe that good deeds are more rewarded during Ramadan than at any other time of the year. As a result, many Muslims donate a significant portion—or even the entirety—of their annual zakat during this month. Night Prayers Taraweeh (Arabic:) are additional night prayers held during Ramadan. Contrary to popular belief, they are not mandatory. But this is a Sunnah. If it is missed, it is not a sin, but scholars say that it is obligatory for those who fast.
➤ Recitation of the Qur'an Muslims are encouraged to recite the entire Qur'an, which consists of thirty parts, during the thirty days of Ramadan. Some Muslims include the recitation of one Joz in each of the thirty Taraweeh sessions celebrated during the month. ➤ Cultural Practices In some Islamic countries, lights are illuminated in public squares and city streets, a tradition believed to have originated during the Fatimid Caliphate, where the rule of Caliph al-Mu'izz al-Din Allah's people appreciated it. Many Muslims around the world bathe in holy springs in preparation for fasting and wear clean clothes for prayer.
